DEFINITIONS - What Is An Emergency?
A True Medical Emergency is life-threatening or can lead to permanent damage of one or more part of the body, if medical treatment is not available immediately. Symptoms include:
uncontrollable bleeding,
broken bone,
wounds that require suturing (medical sewing to close skin)
third-degree or fourth-degree burns in one or more areas of the body.
in the process of having a stroke or heart attack,
unconsciousness or
pain that is so severe you think you may die if you do
get immediate medical assistance.
A Nutritional and Naturopathic Emergency is any acute symptom that
is not included in the Medical Emergency list above.
In other words, symptoms related to living your daily life,
such as symptoms from organs and gland dysfunctions, toxicity, nutrient deficiencies, and biochemical imbalances caused by short- and long-term dietary and lifestyle practices and environmental exposures.
In fact, treating these with drugs (whether they are over-the-counter or prescribed, pharmaceutical (chemicals) or synthetic or isolated vitamin and mineral supplements) only contribute to making these symptoms worse, due to toxicity, malnutrition, and manipulation of human biochemistry and metabolism.
