The
Therapeutic supplements recommended by Dr. Smith are formulated for
clinical use to raise or lower nutrient values on Laboratory Tests and
assist the body in balancing its nutritional biochemistry and thereby,
improve organ and gland function.
Whole Food, Therapeutic Supplements
are available only through Nutritional Healthcare Professionals, like
Dr. Smith. Therapeutic supplements are organic, and contain the whole
food, not isolated vitamins that have been extracted from foods and
then bottled.
Whole
Food Clinically-Formulated Supplements, Therapeutic-Grade Herbs, and/or
High Potency Homeopathics are provided by Dr. Smith to correct the
findings on your specific Clinical Nutrition Analysis.
By raising
clinical vitamin and mineral deficiencies, balancing nutritional
biochemistry (the metabolism), the body can improve organ/gland
function and, thereby, reverse disease patterns and restore health.
Re: Vitamin and Mineral Supplements - Only Whole Food Complexes are Safe, Effective and Assist The Body In Healing Itself.
Ascorbic Acid is NOT a Whole Food Vitamin C Complex
When
purchasing an over-the-counter supplement labeled, "Vitamin C", you
will notice by reading the label that what you are purchasing is
Ascorbic Acid. Ascorbic Acid is not a complete Vitamin C (Vitamin C Complex), it is only
the outer covering of the whole Vitamin C Complex. A Complete Whole
Food Vitamin C Complex has seven parts, and only when all seven parts
are present just as nature made them, does a person truly get a
Complete Vitamin C Complex.
The Seven Nutrient Parts That Make a Whole Food Vitamin C Complex are:
Tyrosinase
P Factors
K Factors
J Factors
Ascorbigen BioFlavonoid Complexes
AND
Ascorbic Acid (AA)
The
body cannot metabolize incomplete vitamins and minerals. To take only
Ascorbic Acid is like getting dressed to go outside, yet putting on
only your over Coat. Putting on only an over coat is not only
incomplete, but you are not dressed to properly function in the
activity that will be required of you.
When
you ingest only Ascorbic Acid, your body must search its own cells and
tissues for the P, K, J Factors, Tyrosinase and Ascorbigen Bioflavonoid
Complexes to match the Ascorbic Acid and to "try" to make the AA
compatible for the metabolic process. When it cannot do this, the end
result is a Vitamin C deficiency, now in more areas of the body than when you first took the Ascorbic Acid. So taking a vitamin supplement that contains
only one of the seven parts of a Vitamin C Complex, like Ascorbic
Acid, causes a deficiency in the whole complex Vitamin C. The
unmetabolized Ascorbic Acid settles in the cells/tissues and rots, then
over-time becomes toxic, a poison to the cells, etc., and can lead to
inflammation.
This
process occurs when people take anything that does not get metabolized,
whether it is taking an incomplete vitamin, like Ascorbic Acid, or
ingesting chemicals in the food additives used to preserve the shelf-life
of foods in containers.
Now,
you may say, but I have taken thousands of grams of Ascorbic Acid at once and I
got great results with my cold or flu. This is because Ascorbic Acid, the outer layer of Vitamin C Complex, is an anti-oxidant, which is beneficial to helping colds, flu (germs), and inflammation (toxins, chemicals and germs attacking tissue). However, when the body starts to metabolize the next nutrient in a Vitamin C Complex and it is not there, it will attempt to extract the other nutrients from other cells and tissue, deposit the unmetabolized Ascorbic Acid into the nearest fat cell or tissue, where it will rot and become a toxin (poison), or it will try to eliminate as much as it can through the liver/kidneys. One thing for sure, it won't be using it as Vitamin C in the body, and this whole process creates further Vitamin C complex deficiencies.
So though you may get temporary benefit from its anti-oxidant properties, the results you received are not
what you may think, especially, over the long-term. Dr. Smith calls taking an isolated Ascorbic Acid, a vitamin drug. Like a drug, it is addressing the symptoms and the body cannot metabolize it, so it becomes a toxin. Though as Dr. Smith states, it is a healthier drug than taking substances that are 100% chemical, it is still not giving the body what it needs to heal.
Taking 1000mg of AA
is like the analogy above -- you just put on more coats, but there is
nothing underneath. The weight of all the extra outer coats causes additional stress on the body. When you look at the nutrient contents of foods,
you will find that none of them contain 1000 mgs. of any nutrient.
Apple a Day - 1.5 mg to 1,500 mg. of Vitamin C Complex:
Ever wonder why we have the old adage, an Apple a day keeps the doctor a way. Beside the fiber which is good for the colon, since a clogged colon can cause a myriad of health challenges, a medium size organic apple contains 1.5 mg. of Vitamin C Complex. The miraculous workings of the human body can make up to 1,500 mg. of Vitamin C Complex from that 1.5 mg. in the whole food apple. So if Harry needs 350 mgs. today and Jane needs 950.86 mg., the human body will make the exact amount each person requires. Thus, whole foods, like the apple, that contain small amounts (1.5 mg.) of Vitamin C Complex demonstrate how the body can make its own mega-vitamins, and the fact that the
digestive system is not designed to metabolize mega-vitamins and
minerals, found in man-made formulations.
After
1-3 months of taking "incomplete" vitamins and minerals, most people
stop taking them. Because the vitamins and minerals seems to help them
initially, they wonder now why they don't seem to work any more? Then
the person moves on to look for another vitamin to help them instead,
or they try the next latest isolated nutrient receiving the
greatest amount of media attention -- thus they keep repeating this
cycle, until they eventually end up with a cupboard full of vitamin/mineral supplements.
This causes delays in getting to the real cause of healing, that only clinical nutrition testing of their biochemistry will identify and only taking complete whole food vitamins/minerals will address the real cause. Taking isolated vitamins and minerals, like Ascorbic Acid, will only create more deficiencies, biochemical imbalances and thus contribute to creating the nutrient-related diseases.

You know what vitamins you need to improve health!
So, Of Course, The Bottom Line Is "It's Best To Test Before You Take Vitamins, Too!"
The
above may seem like just some good slogans; however, the words are
true.
Dr. Smith does not recommend that clients take food supplements (vitamins, minerals, herbs and homeopathics), without first being tested for what they need. Why?
With
good intentions, people are taking vitamins today; however, they are
often "guessing" at what they need based upon their symptoms.
Symptoms
are not a reliable source for choosing vitamins. A single symptom can
often have multiple causes so what are the chances that someone is able
to choose the right vitamin every time?
Dispelling the Myth!
No
publication has sufficient space to communicate everything the reader
needs to know about taking a whole food supplement, much less a single,
isolated vitamin or mineral, nor is it possible to provide sufficient
data to warrant taking it just because the reader has the same symptoms.
WHEN TRAVELING, YOU CONSULT A MAP TO PLAN YOUR JOURNEY INTO UNKNOWN TERRITORY AND TO GET THERE, YOU HAVE TO HAVE A RELIABLE VEHICLE!
If your destination is optimal health, then a Clinical Nutrition Analysis of your own
Laboratory Tests is an internally map (which is
definitely unknown territory for most people) and taking whole
food supplements, clinically-formulated to correct the abnormal
nutritional findings identified in the Laboratory Reports, is the vehicle for the body
and mind to heal.
LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TAKE A VITAMIN OR MINERAL!
For example, an Iron Supplement -- Here is what happens internally when you take Iron:
Sodium goes up,
Magnesium goes down,
Calcium goes down,
Potassium goes up,
Nitrogen goes down,
Copper goes down,
Zinc goes down, and
Manganese goes up.
WOW! Let's say you feel tired and you decide to take an iron supplement.
You take the iron and set off this mineral chain reaction in your
nutritional biochemistry.
However, say your tiredness was really caused
by insufficient or deficient levels of whole complex vitamin B
affecting adrenal function, and not low iron -- so by taking iron, you
now have too much, or too little, of all these other minerals that just
reacted to an over dose of iron. So you end with a worse mineral
imbalance than you had when you started.
"I
find the above situation in every new client I see," reports Dr. Smith,
"This is happening only because at this time in our history, there is
more media coverage promoting the taking of vitamins and minerals than
for testing first for what you need. But times are changing!"
Stay up with the times and get tested before you buy vitamins or other food supplements.
